The Opportunity

As a Procedural PA, you won’t just be “charting”—you will be an integral clinical partner. Working within multiple facilities in the BayCare Health System, you will collaborate closely with our Interventional Radiologists to manage complex patient cases from initial consultation through post-procedure care.

Why choose us?

  • High-Acuity, High-Reward: Manage a diverse patient population and a wide spectrum of medical co-morbidities.
  • Procedural Autonomy: Perform essential image-guided procedures within a supportive, physician-led environment.
  • Stable Private Practice: Enjoy the security of a group with a 60-year history and a collaborative “team-first” culture.

Your Impact

  • Clinical Leadership: Evaluate and manage patients, correlating data to formulate differential diagnoses and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Hands-On Excellence: Perform minor surgical and image-guided procedures, including but not limited to venous access (ports, tunneled/non-tunneled lines), thoracentesis, paracentesis, and lumbar punctures.
  • Collaborative Care: Act as a key bridge between patients, IR physicians, and interdisciplinary hospital teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Patient Advocacy: Conduct histories, physicals, and clinical consultations, ensuring patients are informed and consented with the highest standard of care.

Who You Are

  • Experienced & Skilled: You have a background in Radiology, Surgery, or a similar procedural setting.
  • A Lifelong Learner: You thrive in a learning environment and take pride in staying at the forefront of IR medicine.
  • A Strong Communicator: You are an engaged team member who can simplify complex medical info for patients and coordinate seamlessly with other APPs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited PA program (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Licensure: Active (or eligible for) Florida Medical License and NCCPA Certification.
  • Life Support: Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
